Our resort offers excellent Wi-Fi at competitive prices on the island We're proud to provide high-quality Wi-Fi service in the Cook Islands at the most competitive prices.

However, due to the Cook Islands' remote location and small population, Wi-Fi may be more expensive and slightly less reliable than in major metropolitan countries like New Zealand and Australia.

Wi-Fi access instructions To connect to our Wi-Fi, follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Choose the Rarotongan Resort hotspot on your device.

  2. In the drop-down menu, select "Charge to my room."

  3. Enter your room number.

  4. Input the last name your room is booked under (spelled precisely as in our system).

  5. Check the Terms and Conditions box.

  6. Click connect.

Wi-Fi pricing Upon connecting, you'll see our menu page, where you can select your data package:

• 5GB for $20.00 NZD (expires in 10 days)

• 7.5GB for $30.00 NZD (expires in 14 days)

• 13GB for $50.00 NZD (expires in 20 days)

Single device usage per purchase. 

Note that these prices match Vodafone Cook Islands', the sole Wi-Fi provider in the Cook Islands.

Maximizing your Wi-Fi usage We recommend the following to optimize your Wi-Fi experience:

  1. Disable automatic app updates on your devices during your stay to conserve data and prevent unexpected usage.

  2. Be cautious with streaming services like Netflix, which can quickly consume your data allowance. For reference, our $20 Wi-Fi package with 5GB can support around two hours of Netflix movie streaming.

  3. When sharing photos and videos, remember that high-resolution files can use up your data faster.

  4. Take a screenshot of your code to reconnect if you leave the resort or the network temporarily disconnects.

Additional Wi-Fi options For Wi-Fi access outside the resort, you can purchase a Vodafone Cook Islands Wi-Fi access plan at Reception. The Vodafone hotspot functions in hotspot areas listed on www.vodafone.co.ck. For customer service, call Vodafone at 123. Another option is purchasing a Vodafone Cook Islands Tourist SIM card, available at the Vodafone store in Rarotonga Airport or the township of Avarua.

You can also use a One New Zealand (formerly Vodafone New Zealand) daily roaming plan, accessible in the Cook Islands. Visit one.nz for more information. If you're with Vodafone New Zealand or Spark New Zealand, you can use their daily roaming plans while in the Cook Islands. Visit one.nz (formerly vodafone.co.nz) or spark.co.nz for more information.

For other countries, contact your preferred telecommunications provider to confirm if their roaming plans cover the Cook Islands.

Our Wi-Fi solution is provided by ANTLABS, while Vodafone Cook Islands is the sole telecommunications provider in the Cook Islands.
